Helen Jedlinsky of Pierce Hollow Village, Inc. in Southbury reached out to my office after experiencing seven months of bureaucratic delays with obtaining a 501(c)3 status. Without the status, the organization was unable to fulfil its mission of planning and overseeing the development of low-income senior housing. My office was able to cut through the red tape and secure the 501(c)3 status for the organization. Pierce Hollow Village is now able to move forward with its plan to create housing and jobs.

“Rep. Esty’s staff immediately replied to my query and provided prompt updates when we thought nothing could be done. Because of Rep. Esty, the process moved with unbelievable speed and now we can move forward with building low-income senior housing. The efficiency with which Rep. Esty’s office functions should serve as an example for any office.”
